Got the call from Micki Johnson at 415-234-0534 left on my answering machine yesterday at 11:29a. Got a second call from her later with a different phone number at 5:59p. Both claiming to be from the IRS. Which is of course not the way IRS works. Don't respond, that just confirms the phone number. Had similar calls last month claiming to be from CRA, the Canadian Revenue Agency. But I guess the scam works with a few percent of the people.
Got a call from 415-234-0534 claiming to be IRS, they said that I owed $3950 and it is now $25000 or I was going to jail for a week. I told these clowns that I didn't owe and I was gonna check them out. The guy on the phone got angry and threatened to send police right then. Now we all know that the IRS will send you a few letters over a few years before they even send a bill, and they aren't as aggressive as these jerks were !!!!
