Who called from 4152349569

This almost caused me a heart attack over nothing.

They called and say I owed $208,000 in unpaid taxes from returns 4-6 years ago!!!

They said a certified letter they sent was not answered.

The reason I didn't think it was a scam, was that they were not actually asking for any payment on the phone.  So what is their method of fraud, then?  Am I being defrauded just by calling them back?

I had to call the real IRS, be on hold for 40 mins, and ask them about it.  

Oh, and I'm Indian myself.  I feel ashamed to see Indians sinking to the level of Nigerians...

I want to report these people, and SHUT THEM DOWN.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I got a call from this number this morning and a "Julie Smith" left me a voicemail saying that I need to contact the IRS and what sounded like a threat to seize my assets if I didnt. I returned the call and first no one answered, not even a recording. Then I called back and it said to leave a voicemial which I did not leave. I called back a third time and someone answered and I told them I received a call from them. They took my number and questioned if they called me. I should have known then it was fraud. After what seemed like them passing the phone to someone else I got some Indian man on the phone telling me that I was audited by the IRS and I owe back taxes and that the police would be at my house in 40 minutes to arrest me. Now I know I owed some back taxes but have been on a payment plan with the IRS and have been current with them. The man was being ignorant on the phone and I called his bluff when he couldnt give me a badge number or tell me why they hadn't sent anything in the mail. He started yelling at me so I hung up. He called me back and I demanded a badge number and then he was reading off my name and noticed I was Indian too at that point and started talking to me in INDIAN. When does anyone from the IRS use INDIAN to talk to tax payers?!?! At that point I got I was pissed and ripped him a new one and told him to lose my number and that impersonating someone from the IRS is a crime and he would be the one behind bars. Then the sick PIG started talking dirty to me in Indian. At that point, I wished him to hell and hung up on him. After that, he called me back from a variety of numbers 800-829-1040, 202-231-6944 & 575-387-6546 about 30 times...I had my boss answer the phone at one point and I thought that would have him stop but no he called me back after that and left me a voicemail saying that he loved me, loved my name and wanted to know if I would marry him. SICK INDIAN PIG.

I just received a call from this number, I know for sure IRS does not have a call back number as i have spoken to IRS previously.  This is a fake call.... do not call. I have also experienced some crap talk in the past. Be careful and don't impart any information to them.....
