I received the same call today. They were going to read the complaint and the phone went dead. Said something about a criminal complaint that I was involved in, and I am not. Asked me for a case number, I had nothing, they left nothing on the voice mail other than the phone number. The call came from California.
Add me to the list. I leave in Miami and just got the call today (18/12) at 9:00 from agent Jude Smith to call them to discuss related matters to an IRS investigation. I propose all of you to report this immediately. We need to get this people. Regards. Ric
received phone call from an officer Julie Smith from the Internal Revenue Service. Asking to please call their HOTLINE (same as what is on caller id) with my taxpayer information ready or have my IRS appointed Tax Lawyer contact them for there is an urgent matter that needs immediate care and action to solve my current tax discrepancies.
I knew this was a scam while listening to the voicemail. First off. IRS never contacts by phone. Certified letter is sent to your home. The recording doesn't even mention a name of who is supposedly done the IRS wrong at the beginning of the message and all the way to the end of the message. Also if you were to contact the IRS, they have email or an 800 number not a long distance number that costs you money when you need their assistance on your personal and business taxes. I just hope more info is out there for the young and naïve folks, and the elderly, and even immigrants that are new to our country. I don't think I will ever understand why people can't be honest with themselves and go out and get a real job to support themselves and know that the food on their table for their families was put there by them from working hard all day every day to earn an honest living. This way their families can be proud and their kids don't turn out as criminals either!!!!!! YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!!! It is pretty sad that they have to hurt others just so they can have a dollar in their pocket.......
why did i get a recorded voice mail message from this number i call back they keep hanging up on me.. i finally get someone on the phone they tell me they already talked to a man at this number and know its a wrong number... and to not call them anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? WHAT YOU CALLED ME YOU SCAM ARTISTS!!!!
just got a another message from 415 234 9651 same thing .. then i call back they ask me what do i want !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????? i said you called me .. he says no Julie Smith called you what did she say .. lolololol ..
