Yah, I got a call from 415-252-5625 on 27 DEC 2011, and they left a message on my answering maching that said my mastercard account had been locked and that they were the security dept. and I needed to call them at this number in order to get it unlocked...scam alert people ****
OK folks, I stand corrected, I called my bank, and I suggest that is what you do. NO NOT call back to this number. It seems there is an issue with Master Cards right now, call YOUR bank if you have a mastercard with them and they can sort it out with you!!
Received an automated (choppy recorded voice message) call on my cell. Recording said my "Master Card had been stolen" and to press "1" to talk to the "security department." Did not press any keys and waited for further information. Call was eventually disconnected with no further directions. Was not tempted to call back or press ''1" as I don't even have a Master Card.
