02/28/09 at 6:50p.m. I received a call from this number 415.282.8986, saying an interview schedule will be mailed to me over the mail. He confirmed my home address. When I asked his name, he hang up. I reported it to the police and it was a valid contact number for SFGH.

number 415-282-8986 is a number shown on the caller id when you get a call from san francisco general hospital. when any outgoing calls dial from the enitre hospital that number will appear. you cannot call back because it will say it has been disconnected..
Me too! It's creepy. Not sure what to do about it. Did they stop calling you? I've been getting these calls for weeks now and they leave weird messages that ramble. What did you do to stop it?
rec'd call at 7:43pm June 1. Caller asked for me by name and then said "wrong number" and hung up. Googled the # and found this site. Makes me feel better. It's so creepy. Going to dump my landline anyway.
