I received a call from what appears to be the IRS phone number of 800 829-1040. It was from a Nicky Johnson wanting me to call her personal hotline at 415-363-0183 to resolve my tax issue.
Caller called & stayed that I had committed fraud with the IRS & that they were sezing all property in my name & I could also spend 5 years in prison!!
Received automated call from IRS..thought it was a scam. Called the number anyway...got a male with a heavy Indian accent who said his name was Robert Peterson calling from the IRS. Tax me he had court papers and wanted to verify my address. I said no. He hung up. I called back..same guy answered ..told him that this was a bogus call and to please remove my name from their Do Not Call list..he said that the police will be coming to arrest me. I hope they get these guys...criminals for sure.
