Call from a Matt Verbin wanting to sell me bathroom supplies.

I just received a call from this number.  The phone rang twice and when I answered no one said anything. they hung up.

I called the number back 415-363-9552. It's a recording from a company that does survey for cancer or cancer screening.

I have received a call from this asking if I have ever taken certain birth control pills.  I have no idea how they have gotten this number, but even when I ask to be removed, they still call.

must have called house line; I did not hear it. Immediately after, legitimate call from valid caller.  Did not know phony call until I saw it on caller screen.
