I am getting calls from a john peterson harrison law firm #5307456688 who is telling me i am in a fraud case for a check that was never recived or cashed. He has cussed me he has threatened to send planes to blow my house up. He has called me at work and my cell as well as my husbands,
This person calls me and says that he is a detective or from a law firm that does not exsist. I have had everthing checked out and he gives me a false address to send money. I would like a stop put to this call. He is a man claiming to be John Peterson. The call comes from Oakland California
i just received a call from some one claiming to be from a law firm too. i'm going to call them later to see what they have to say. i'll come back & up date you all......
I'm getting the same type calls. I have had this happen last month. From Florida and California. The best thing to do is file reports with the Atty Generals Office in the State they say they are calling from. Make sure you get there name, Company name address and telephone number.
They try to scare people into thinking they have a law suite against them. Then they say you can settle out of court if you send them money or give them access to your checking account. But they will not send you the written complaint until you send them money. Do not send them anything. And file a complaint with the Attn. Generals office.
Once I get their information I inform them that I will be filing a complaint with the State's Attn General Office and they hang up. Most of these people can barely speak English and when I ask their title they don't know what I'm talking about.
OK THE GUY JOHN PETERSON FROM PHONE NUMBER 415-366-0233 CLAIMING TO BE FROM HARRISON LAW FIRM IN OAKLAND CALIFORNIA IS NOT REAL. I HAVE DONE A EXSTENSIVE RESEARCH ON HIM AND HIS LAW FIRM AND HAVE CALLED HIM BACK AND HAVE ASKED HIM TO FAX OR MAIL ME MY DOCUMENTS THE ONES HE CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO TAKE ME TO COURT AND SUE ME ON AND LOCK ME UP FOR A PAYDAY LOAN I NEVER TOOK OUT IN 2008 IS NOT REAL. I HAVE REPORTED HIM TO THE FBI AT 202-278-2000 ON 4TH STREET NW WASHINGTON DC AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE FTC(FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION)THE FBI IS SAYING THAT THEY HAVE HAD THESE REPORTS BEFORE THE GUYS WAS TELLING ME ON THE PHONE AND THAT YOU MUST CALL THE FEDERAL TRADES COMMISSION AND FILE A COMPLAINT...WHEN I TRIED ASKING FOR MY DOCUMENTS FROM THIS SO CALLED JOHN PETERSON HE SAID HE WOULD MAIL THEM TO ME AND THAT HE KNOWS MY ADDRESS..I SAID TO HIM HOW CAN YOU KNOW MY ADDRESS IF I HAVE NOT GIVEN IT TO YOU AND HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME AND WOULD NOT ANWSER MY PHONE CALLS ANYMORE WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK. HE WAS CLAIMING TO ALSO BE A INVESTIGATOR 2 WEEKS AGO FROM A PHONE NUMBER STARTING WITH AREA CODE 909>WHICH IS ALSO CALIFORNIA WITH THE TELEPHONE COMPANY PAC-TEL. I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER TO THAT TELEPHONE COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA AS ADVISED HERE FROM ONE OUR PEOPLE ON THIS SITE. EVERYONE SHOULD CALL THIS PERSON TELEPHONE COMPANY AT 866-626-4325 AND REPORT THIS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SCAMMED AND HE GETS AWAY WITH SOME MONEY..HE IS A GUY FROM INDIA WITH A INDIAN ACCENT OR HE MAYBE FROM PAKASTAN. HE HAS TOLD ME THAT HE HAS FILED A CASE WITH THE SUPERIOR SUPREME COURTS AND THAT THEY WILL BE ISSUEING ME A WARRENT TO SETTLE THIS DEBT IF NOT PAID BY PRE-PAID DEBIT CARD PURCHASED FROM WALMART FOR THE AMOUNT LOADED UP ON IT OF 500 TO 400 DOLLARS....BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM ABOUT A SO CALLED PAYDAY LOAN....IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NEVER TAKEN A PAYDAY LOAN OUT RECENTLY AND SOMEONE CALLS YOU FROM THIS NUMBER AND LAW FIRM YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST DOCUMENTATION TO SEE THIS AND YOU HAVE THE RIGHT UNDER THE US CONSTITUTION TO DO SIGNATURES CARDS AND COMPARE SIGNATURES ON THAT CARD. IF YOU CAN SHOW THE SIGNATURES ARE DIFFERENT THEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NOT TO DISCUSS ANYTHING FURTHER THAT THIS IDIVIDUAL HAS TO SAY TO YOU. THE FEDERAL TRADES COMMISSION IS NOW INVESTIGATING THIS AS OF TODAY 7/15/2010
