I am getting calls from a john peterson harrison law firm #5307456688 who is telling me i am in a fraud case for a check that was never recived or cashed. He has cussed me he has threatened to send planes to blow my house up. He has called me at work and my cell as well as my husbands,
I have just had my second set of calls from these people. The first time was about 3 weeks ago and the man identified himself as Officer Matthew somebody. When I questioned him as to where the suit was filed and what it was about he put someone else on the phone who identified himself as an attorney and that Matthew was a legal assistant. Matthew had told me he was an investigator with the Dept of Law Investigation. Both men had very heavy accents. The "attorney" stated they were acting for Cashnet Marketing and that I had committed bank fraud. I have never had a loan with or done business with Cashnet Marketing who is a legitimate company. I spoke with someone in Cashnet's compliance dept who told me that these people have nothing to do with them and that they have gotten many complaints. She, also, told me Dept of Law Investigation were being investigated by the Better Business Bureau, the FTC and others. By the way, the "attorney" finally told me the lawsuit was filed against me in Pennsylvania. I do not live anywhere near Pennsylvania.
"Richard Wright" with Harrison Law Firm starting calling me yesterday with the same line. I finally picked up after the 3rd call, let him start his "patter" and then told him that I had already been down the road with them, that I knew they were a scam and to never call my number again. He called again this morning but at my work number. He left the 415-366-0233 as a call back. When I called the number the message stated #936-415 was not available and that the voice mail was full.
I wish there was a way to make these scumbags stop. You know that there are people who are not as savvy about this type of thing and are sending them the money they demand because they think they are going to jail.
My favorite thing about all of this is when they tell you to "have a blessed day". Really creepy.
I just recieved a phone call from a wierd six diget number and this was the call back. I am so glad I googled the number before I called them back. I told the guy "john petterson" that I called the fbi and they were being investigated. He could have cared less. I told him he should google his number and see what comes up. These people are unbelievable. They really need to stop preying on people.
I like the part too where they say good bless you and have a blessed day...I will have a blessed day if they stop calling me!!!!

Their number is now 530-230-9512 and first the "paralegal" is named Mark Sanders with a heavy or spanish accent who gave me a case # and said I was being sued for a payday loan I defaulted on with Cash Advance USA. He would not answer my questions about the loan, amount and date of loan. They somehow do have the last 4 numbers of my SS# but I did not confirm it was accurate. I asked for his boss who happened to be JOHN PETERSON (oh forgot I did get the firm name was HARRISON LAW FIRM out of Chico CA). He actually said different information than Mark Sanders (he said I would get the documents in the mail) but John said his investigation team would be at my work tomorrow to arrest me.
I believe they are getting this information from an application I filled out for a payday loan recently. They say the debt is from 4 to 5 years ago...Sorry but I didn't try to get a loan until recently. So they must have an insider at one of these payday loan referral companies.
John Peterson also had a heavy accent and was rude and very threatening. I called the Chico Police dept, no help and then the CA Attorney General's Office. PLEASE PLEASE file reports with them. The more times they see the name HARRISON LAW FIRM they will get the Dept of Justice to investigate them.
It appears they have moved from the 415 # to the 530 area code. I will call their telephone company and let them know about this as well.
Also they gave me this #530-237-2233 as their contact # even though the other one showed up on my caller id. I have tried calling them back to no avail.
Just got a call from William (could not understand him) then Brian Jackson got on the phone and asked about confirming my soc sec # which I would not. they said I was being sued but would not go into details.. Thanks for all the previous posts This must be a scam
