Answered and got silence.  Then some line noise and after waiting a moment, I heard "Uh...hello? Hello?"

"Company XYZ, how may I help you?" I said again.

"Uh yes, is Sam available?" he said, accent starting to come through.

"We have no one by that name here."

"Sam?  Sam Johnson?"

"Yeah, still no Sam here."

"Oh, okay."  *click*

Same song and dance as the others.  Illegal scammers who spoof local numbers.

This company calls all the time.  They say they are calling for Peter and they are with Ring Central.  Scammers of some sorts i am guessing

Indian gentleman asked for the the CFO by her full name. Asked what the call was in regards to. Stated he was calling from the Law Offices of "Dan Jones". I asked again what it was in regards to, and he refused to answer. He said that he would call back if she wasn't available. Good thing I looked up the number!

Very rude caller. Would not leave a msg. or a phone number. Asking for maintenance and Safety person.
