Spam caller asking for someone in my office, did not say who they were with, and they were calling on behalf of someone else. Don't spam the guy that runs the office PBX guys.
Guy with a very thick Indian accent named Nathan Jones (ahahahahahahahahaha) asking for someone here by first name only. Said he's calling from Mark Barstein's office and that he's his assistant, not privy to the nature of the call and just supposed to get Bob on the line and then he'd connect the call to Mr. Barstein... well, since I've received this exact same call from 2 dozen other numbers (how many assistants does Mark have?!) I know it's a scam. Different person, different number, same spiel about not knowing the nature of the call... every. single. time. Super annoying. Go away Mark and Co. You're NOT getting through.
Caller asks for someone whose name he can barely pronounce. When informed this person is in a office overseas, caller asks if the person recently moved there. No, they've always been there. Callers says "oh, okay...' and hangs up. Eyes roll.
Caller was indian spoke English. Asked for my first name and when questioned who it was replied with the name of a friend of mine. Caller then added the last name "Brown" to my first name presumably to get off the call. Clearly the caller was varifying personal details for a database of some kind.
