This number called my house phone. I did not pick it up, but looked it up the number here. While I was looking it up, my cell phone rang and it was the same number. No message was left on either phone.

Answered the call and was asked for 'Jerry' by someone with a thick foreign accent. Asked who was calling and heard a mumbled few words and then Venture. Hung up. Not sure who this was.

Several people reporting on these other threads state that the caller claims to "not be selling anything" and "taking a survey."
Sound scammy to me. Saying they're taking a survey, asking a few questions then trying to sell you their service is a common way telemarketers skirt the DNC regulations.
