I have received many calls from this company who claim to provide merchant payment processing. I have repeatedly asked them to remove me from their call route as they incorrectly have my personal, non-published phone number listed as a business they are trying to telemarket to. They are incredibly abusive and threatening and advise that if I refuse to provide my name, address, and other forms of personal information that they will call me every single day and make my life a living hell!!! This is not the first time I've reported this business and I feel so helpless to prevent this. They curse profusely and laugh as they threaten to call over and over again until I prove to them I'm not a business by giving all of my personal information. How can they get away with this?

I work for the real ‘Payment Solutions’ and we DO NOT make these phone calls (We don't cold call anybody) but receive numerous complaints about these phone calls.
We want to find out who these people are just as bad as you do!
Unfortunately 415-375-0930 is just a recording that goes nowhere and we have no way to find out who they are.
The only way we can make these phone calls stop is by finding out who these people are. In order to do this if these people are calling you act like you’re interested and ask for an application or more information. If you can get an address or there real phone number, please post it in this forum so we can contact them and tell them to stop.
One of the best things I've ever done is convert our home number to Google Voice, which allows you to block an *unlimited* quantity of numbers. Now when we receive a call like this from an unknown number (which goes straight to voice mail unless they identify themselves), we mark the number as blocked. If they call again, they will get that phone-company-ish "The number you have called has been disconnected or is no longer in service" message. Forever. We now have no fear of giving our "home" number out, as only our known contacts are going to reach us. You can also set up calling rules, so that incoming calls do custom things, depending on who's calling. I love it.
It is sad that other phone providers (such as Comcast digital voice, which we used to have) don't let you block an *unlimited* quantity of numbers. We live in the 21st century for crying out loud.
