Who called from 4154133497

Don't be suspicious.  Be absolutely certain this is a phishing scam.  They want you to call and give them your details - personal info, etc. - and if you are extremely naive, a credit card number.  The IRS does not operate like this - they don't call you via your telephone number with a recorded message, they send official letters that you will not mistake for anything else.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS ABSURD SCAM - HANG UP AND GIVE THEM A RESOUNDING  F*** Y**  Or do call the number (I haven't done that) and report back here to tell us more about how they operate.  My guess is that these scammers are semi-literate and don't even speak passable English.  Give them fake info just to be able to get a handle on their method of operation.  There is a fairly good chance they are not even in the US.  (With modern tech you don't need to be in the US to have an actual US number.)

The guy with an Indian accent left a voicemail said that he is from the IRS and wants me to call back right away and that I should not ignore this. Obviously is a scam.

I got a call from this number 415-413-3497 and they left a message stating they were IRS. I called it back and a guy with a heavy accent from India told me that i was being investigated with the IRS for the last 6 years for fraud. I told him that was weird because i actually spoke to IRS last year and was told nothing. He acted surprised and asked me if he had permission to read the affidavit. He read it to me and when I asked what 6 years, he hung up. I called back and received a female with the same accent and told her I was speaking with someone about a 6 year claim with IRS and wanted to know what they were talking about, I haven't received anything from IRS. Then she hung up.Really upset me more after I Google the number and seen how many people are going through this. Sad and I wish that they could stop these people.

This is a scam from 415-413-3497 claiming they are the IRS, they have called me many times. The first time was a threatening man, since then a computer voice.

Received a recording message from "officer Nicki Johnson" and the #415 413 3497 stating I have been accused of tax fraud. When I returned the call first, I got a recorded female message. I called a second time and "Julie" identified herself as working for the IRS. Demanding that it be paid or I would be arrested. Couldn't provide an account number or address where to mail payment. The only info they could identify about me is publicly known anyways. This is a scam.  I feel so bad for those elderly people who will pay this out of fear, or worse, have a heart attack from stress!
