A guy by the name of Dan Black called and asked for me by name. There was a delay getting connected so this was an auto dialer. Dan asked if I was familiar with Angie's List but I don't think this was Angie's. He went on about having only licensed and bonded contractors and... I cut him off and told him I'm not interested in hearing any more, take me off his call list and don't call here again. We'll see. This is the same San Francisco phone number that called me Feb 3 about hiring a contractor. That was a different guy and I hung up on him after reminding him my number is on the National Do Not Call list.
The lady ID'd herself as Lisa from Bay Area Home Remodeling Company and saying her company is certified with Angie's List. Well, does Angie's List condone harrassing/spamming/scamming/lying to potential customers and breaking the law by violating privacy and the Do-Not-Call List? I don't think so! . . Angie's List isn't doing a good job!!!!
