No message - calling repeatedly.

Just recieved a call from this so called "company". The number is 1-415-462-8335 the man on the other end of the phone said he was "John Smith" with Central Payment Corporation. He said his Ext.# was 7426. From what I am reading I think this is a total fraud.

I got a call from this company on yesterday, i spoke with a live person, whom invited me for a conference call to give me precise information on the position. this is not what you call a scam because they don't ask you for any personal or biographical information.  If you are looking for some extra money, maybe you should try it, they don't ask you for any money up front like the other scams on here like "Hebarlife"

Central Payment Corp (CPC) is a credit card processing business, enabling any business to accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover & AMEX).  We have over 500 outside sales professionals and over 140 in-house employees.  We have a small Recruiting Department.  We advertise our sales positions on Hot Jobs, Monster & Career Builders.  In the past, we have attempted to find people that have a resume posted online and offer our sales opportunity to them.  We do not 'sell' this opportunity to anyone.  We have since stopped calling an resume unless the resume was sent to us by the job seeker.  In addition, it should be noted that Hot Jobs, Career Builders and Monster sometimes send your resume (without your knowledge) to a company they think will be a 'match' for you.

We apologize to those we contacted that had zero interest in working with our company.  With that said, CPC is not a scam.  We process credit card transactions for over 30,000 businesses across the country.  Please email [email protected] if you have any other questions or concerns about a phone call made to you.

Hello - didn't receive a phone call, BUT we actually own a web design firm and are located close to one of their local offices.  The gentlemen who work at this office were very polite when I ran across them and we started discussing our professions.  Long story short, it's been a year and we refer all our new e-commerce customers to their services.  Last year we made a pretty good chunk of money with these referrals and the residuals.  All our customers (as well as ourselves) are very happy with their services and the rates.  Their customer service and support are great and I have no complaints.
