I just got a message from the same people and I called then back and they said I was going to be arrested today for not paying my taxes for 2 years...I laughed at him (accent from India and a lot of background noise!!!) and I told him I was going to call the IRS on him and hung up
Same number.. this is a different scam number claiming to be IRS. Left a threatening voice mail that I must call back before they take action. I had a similar call a couple of months ago with a different phone number. I called back and was really amazed how rude the guy was when I asked him for his IRS identification and why was he calling on a non-toll number which is standard for IRS. I asked for his name and location and he would not provide. Called me names. insulted me (as I called him out on his scam) and I hung up the phone. I 'm blocking this number as well and not calling back to be insulted again.
I called it back as they said it was important from IRS..A man with a heavy Indian accent read some big long bunch of crap to me about how I was going to be arrested and all of my property would be seized and I would be put in jail. I asked why he'd call on the phone and not send out official documents and he said he tried but I wasn't home... I hung up on him!
I've had 3 calls in two day requesting that i call immediately regarding my IRS default. Funny how I got a whooping big refund this year. i was to call 415-483-4562 and speak to agent Nikki Johnson right away. The number was answered by a non native American who proceeded to tell me that his paralegal Nicky was unavailable. I sort of went ballistic and informed him that the proper authorities would be notified of his attempt at fraud. What effin morons.
