I just got a message from the same people and I called then back and they said I was going to be arrested today for not paying my taxes for 2 years...I laughed at him (accent from India and a lot of background noise!!!) and I told him I was going to call the IRS on him and hung up

Received a call today around 3:30 from above number. I did not recognize number, so I did not answer, They left a message but it was a very poor quality recording, told me to call back to avoid them "taking action against me". Recording was so poor, I could not even tell WHO called. Did not call them back, and have blocked their number.
415-483-4562 I received a voicemail stating the IRS needed to speak with me regarding an important action. I called and spoke with Office Kevin Scott who informed me that I he was with the Fraud Investigations Department of the IRS and that I was being investigated. When I told him that the IRS sends a letter and that I have never received a letter yet, he told me to get a criminal lawyer and get a criminal lawyer right away. I told him I was call the IRS at the 800 number and he said "[***] you [***]" and hung up. I have a automated voicemail stating that the IRS needs me to contact them right away at the 451-483-4562 regarding an investigation.
Well, they call you and say they are IRS and that you are in deep trouble and they are about to take everything you own and throw you in the closest Bastille they can find.
But, if you just wire some untraceable funds to your callers, they will make the whole thing go away.
That's it, in a nutshell. You'd be surprised how many people fall for this scam. Woman seem especially susceptible to this scam.
