I got a call from Stephanie, saying if we didn't get $3000 into the "IRS account" by 2:00pm my husband would be arrested and in jail for 12 months with no opportunity for getting out or getting a lawyer. They wanted me to get cash, go to Western Union and call her back. She would then give me instructions on how to send the money in correctly.
Scared me to death. I called the IRS, they said that it is a scam.
415-484-8569 is the number thats called for my husband and we r unaware of any daniel robertsons who he claims to be. He didnt call us directly he called my husbands dads house... so since we were informed of this fraud and did some research on it my husband and I have been privately calling the number non-stop for the last hr and a half lol and I mean non-stop over 100xs so far!! Stupid idiot's messed with the wrong people!!!!

It was WAY too funny the way this clown butchered our name in the Engrish like above - only way worse. I could barely pick out "IRS" and his threat not to ignore the warning. Right - the IRS would have some non-speaking moron call from a California #. I previously dealt w/them MANY times and personally know way better than that. The person who said they'd notify you by mail is right on the money, so I feel for anyone who gets scared by scammers like this. Same with the letters in the mail that quote amounts due that I'm smart enough to recognize as having been resolved long ago - just some scumbags who look up old records & hope to overcharge for their non-services. DON'T GET SCAMMED!!!! BUT, for fun, you can check out "Telemarketing prank" videos on you tube - commedian who turns the tables on them. Received phone call from 415-484-8569 called id'ed himself as Edward Marshall and had a heavy accent mumbled some sentences. Said he was from the IRS and I should return call or my Attorney otherwise I will be fined and face serious consequences with the IRS. Tried calling back no answer, beeping sound. Cowards!!!
