They called this evening with a recorded message. Caller Id says "Home Security". The recording identifies them as GE, and selling GE security systems. I hate this kind of crap, even if robocalls are illegal it seems as though there is little to do about it. I just contacted the GE company to tell them about it, as I am pretty sure they don't want whatever company this is ruining their good name by representing themselves as GE employees. So maybe the FCC doesn't do such a good job, but maybe a corporation having their good name misrepresented might be inclined to look a little harder to shut down those [***] if they know this stuff is going on. It's a thought anyway.
Called my cell phone. No callercorded ID and I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. No voice mail left. Two others reported call fromfrom that numberthe in thethe last 4night hours soof it looks like a new number for some telemarketer.
