Received call from David Green with very heavy Indian accent - could hardly understand the message. Something about Income Tax evasion. Got a similar call two days earlier 415 251-9114 from Gary Jones special agent crime investigation.
Received a call from an Indian man from India saying charges were being filed against me because I owed the Federal Government for taxes. Do not fall for this!
I just got this call also. The guy tild me to call back and talk to Michael Corbin to discuss my case and that the IRS was taking legal action against me. What a creep!!
A guy with heavy Indian accent called my mom from this number. She was cautious and did not give out any info and asked for a name and call back number. The guy claimed to be "Martin Morgan" from the Internal Revenue Service, and gave her a case number to sound legit. My mom called me right afterwards to ask me what to do. I was quite sure that it had to be a scam, because Internal Revenue Service does NOT call taxpayers to collect. I told her to not worry and told her to Google the number so she could see why I was so sure.
I'm glad that websites like this one exist so we can share info to expose scammers.
