Same exact thing just happened with me, Chase Bank has the check, it's gone to their fraud department. Lesson learned, someone wants to hire you as their personal assistant, meet with them and let them order the equipment on their CC and go from there.
I still don't understand what the scam is? Obviously it sounds too good to be true but where is the problem. Everyone states they went through the e-mails ok thats odd, but what happens next? I just sent my information, nothing he can do with my name, address, and phone number cept for come to my house and answer to me?? any one get any farther to explain the scam at hand?
