I got a call today from 415-662-8387 claiming tax fraud, they wanted my lawyers name. I couldn't make out what he was saying. This is a IRS scam. If they call you, ask them for their badge number and let him/her know you will first call the IRS directly to confirm that they are legitimate IRS employees. You'll see it's just another scam. Same here, got a call today from 415-662-8387 claiming tax fraud, i called BS and called the IRS then searched for this number. Knew it was bogus, but they sounded very confident, don't believe it. We will look to report this in the morning and nail these folks!
My buddy received a call today from this number and they said something to the effect of that he owed the irs money and they needed information so they could send the subpoena to his attorney. Also he could set up a payment plan, etc.

We received the same phone call today, they were rude, did not want to hear me, did not want to give me an ID and hung up. I am reporting them to IRS General. .Also do not call the number here that says IRS 1-800-366-4484. IRS never identifies themselves as just IRS. Sorry IRS, I trust no one now. Beware do not give your info to no-one.
