My husband got a call on his cell from this number and they claimed they were academic advisors, and they were calling to help him continue his education. He has a PhD in computer sci; not sure he needs more education at this point.....
I'm sure he won't need another student loan for a dubious college, either, which is the usual end game for this type of call. It counts as an illegal sales call if your number is DNC-registered or a canned voice hit your mobile phone.
I don't know who these people think they. Do really think that i'm that stupid to fall for there scam. But they won't go away different ones call every day. I wish I could reach out and grab one of them, (you know what I mean). I don't who they are because they change there phone numbers from one state to another.
