I got a call from this # on Sat @ 4am. They left an auto recorded message saying they were the IRS. I called back at 6:50AM on a Saturday and someone that sounded like they were in a call center in India answered. She asked for my name which I gave then she proceded to tell me that my taxes were not paid in full and that I was being audited for 2006-2011 for unpaid taxes. When I tried to talk she got upset and said "can I please finish"..which made me realize that she was reading a script and was not that great at improv. I let her talk..then at the end of her scary story of all the $ I owe them.. I told her what the hell are you talking about? I dont owe taxes. She asked me why. I said " I have never made enough $ to have to pay taxes and I have 4 kids! She said.. Oh let me call you back. If she call's back I'm going to start speaking Punjabi to her.
I received a voicemail from "officer Julie Smith" of the IRS last evening. I was told to call her before action was taken against me. When I called I left a voicemail and I called back this morning and the woman I spoke to sounded like she was in a call center in India. She told me the IRS has a lawsuit against me and did I know what it was about. I told her I knew of no such suit and she asked if I wanted to know what it was about. When I said yes she said she needed me tax ID number and I told her she was not getting anything from me and I hung up.
1st they called, the message left is a foreign accent, with the message to call back
I called back, and I got a lady, i asked if she can pull up my account with my phone number, she started talking in the back ground and said I got smart, then hung up..I called back 3x and they hung up on me, then I called the 4th time, the guy answers, I asked him how are they the IRS and they are hanging up on me? He said she's in training and she used to work for McDonalds!!!!! lol, I was looking up this website/number while on the line with them...THEY ARE NO LEGIT!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!! no info, no names NOTHING!!!
