Got 2 calls from this number concerning a court case and 3 complaints against my mother. No other information. Not who they are or who is filing the complaint. My mom's been dead 5 years and had moved out of California a year and a half before that. Something isn't right with these calls. I talked to two different people who hung up on me when I started questioning them.
I gave my Dad the number and the info I'd gotten. Got a call from Dad in the middle of typing this. He called them and found they were trying to collect on a payday loan my mother had taken out. Mom had never taken a payday loan out. Something rotten is definitely up.
Got a call from an automated 'voice' saying there was an official file against me or something along those lines. Essentially I know this to be completely false because of the line of work I am in. I know I have no debts or anything anyone can sue me for or file against me. So it has to be a new scammer out of the San Francisco area. I just blocked the number on my cell phone, but they can use other numbers to try to scam a collection on someone. Don't fall for it and report them to the CFPB and the FTC. Block them too. These people are scavengers and prey on good, hard working people. They cannot threaten you. They cannot call you before 8 am. If they call you repeatedly, you can report that too. They have a message that says they are the "Division of Processing" and mention you have been served with a summons. Thank you.
calls from this number everyday! i've tried to call back, nothing. mailbox always full. i left one message, but none of my information. their voicemail message never says who they are calling for or what it is about.
They called me repeatedly and I'm not answering. I don't even have any loans it besides my car so this is crap. I'm bit answering nor will i respond to this scam. I'm reporting it today.
My Brother n law and other family members were called from this number. They had a message to call back to give a statement against me. When I called the number a Mr Milton answered and said he was from the Pretrial Processing Center and that I had an outstanding loan and they were going to take me to court but they can settle for a specific amount as the conversation went on the amount was going lower and lower. They probably hoped they could scare me and have me pay them.
