This number has called my cell phone as well. I didn't answer as there have been several different numbers calling my phone since April. Instead, I google the number and find it listed such as this one with the same stories of threats and harassment tied to them. They have to be a scam with a random autodialer as I use a prepaid phone and the name listed on the account is Anonymous. It has never been listed with a creditor or anyone else. Please be careful not to give them your info as this is how they harass your families etc.
This person was clearly reading from a script when he left a message on my cell phone. He stated I had defrauded on a payday loan. Says it will be going to court but wanted to give me a chance to resolve. These people REFUSE to send me any proof of debt by mail. They keep saying they only send correspondence through email. They can't even tell me who the original creditor is or the loan amount. They are just trying to scare me into paying. Any advise out there on how to get these clowns to stop? They got me once but never again! Who can I call?
I got the same messages too and it's not even a live person. It's some kind of recording. Obviously scammers. Has anyone tried calling these people back? This is just ridiculous.
I too have been called by these people and they threaten to call my employer !
I have received over 20 voice messages from them!
