This number has called my cell phone as well. I didn't answer as there have been several different numbers calling my phone since April. Instead, I google the number and find it listed such as this one with the same stories of threats and harassment tied to them. They have to be a scam with a random autodialer as I use a prepaid phone and the name listed on the account is Anonymous. It has never been listed with a creditor or anyone else. Please be careful not to give them your info as this is how they harass your families etc.
I have also been getting harassing phone calls. They also have resorted into calling my family members. I have already turned them into the FTC. My next move is to contact my local FBI and Police Dept. I am sick of getting calls from these scammers . They will stop at nothing to try to get you to pay a bogus debt you do not owe. They refuse to send you any proof through the US mail. I have tried ignoring them but they continue to call and read from a script!
They called me stating that there was 2 allegations against me through the California Courts. And that I need to call them if I want to settle out of court and that if I don't call them they will pursue me at my home or place of employment. I dont even live in California and haven't lived there since 3 years ago. Clearly a scam.
