They just called me and I am about to call back and play along. I am going to give fake info and then when they think they got me, curse em out. Will this solve anything? No BUT it will be entertaining for me to waste their time. I really hope and pray that people are learning not to fall for this crap.
This number has called my mothers phone nonstop saying she owed the IRS money for taxes from 2011-2013, and they were going to send a sheriff to arrest her within the hour. The caller was saying they would shut down her bank account and repo her vehicle. They claimed they didn't want money, but were going to arrest her. Total Scam...
Soon as i got the tennessee number blocked Monday, this number calls several times today. Despite my having a blocking app on my phone why cant we prosecute these people for pretending to be the IRS
Total Scam. its a computer call. Remember IRS will never call you. They will contact you in writting. Poor old and young people that fall for this crap. Just a shame. I say shut down EPA/Department of Education/ and open department of Scams to crack down on these people.
