They just called me and I am about to call back and play along. I am going to give fake info and then when they think they got me, curse em out. Will this solve anything? No BUT it will be entertaining for me to waste their time. I really hope and pray that people are learning not to fall for this crap.
The local LE in India probably stops by their place at least once a week. For their "cut". That's how it works in India. From the very bottom to the top of power. That's the way it's always been & that's the way it will always be. In India graft isn't even "white washed". It's simply a way of life. Being a "Cheat" in India is only a bad thing if you're caught at it...
Just got 2 calls yesterday and today...both times I ignored it cuz I was at work..heard it after work..and I'm like:"it might be wrong number"(first time I was in a hurry so I thought I missed the name)....second time:"um...they don't mention my name.." This [***] is fake/trying to evade being a fake...I don't know much about the irs or debt collection-since I don't put myself in that [***]...but I knew it couldn't be for me.
Now I have blocked the number cuz I'm not dealing with their [***].
recording message saying from IRS? what the heck!! IRS usually send a letter by mail if they a have concern.... this call sounds like a threat!! SCAM!!!
