They just called me and I am about to call back and play along. I am going to give fake info and then when they think they got me, curse em out. Will this solve anything? No BUT it will be entertaining for me to waste their time. I really hope and pray that people are learning not to fall for this crap.
Left message claiming to be IRS agent. Worked for H n R Block tax service for several years and know IRS does not call you.
Yesterday got one from a Baltimore, MD Number stating he was with IRS Investigating Center. Told him to send me a registered letter and I would take it to my attorney that I knew it was a scam.
I received a call I didn't pick up cause didn't know who was it it was a call from California. I returned the call and the guy said was from the IRS sooo i told him why you called? he then asked:why I called?. I said you called me, I am returning the call ...He said that I owed them money ..I said I don't owed nobody money and that I wanted to talk to a supervisor...He said go F**k Yourself...so I answer ohh you are fake this is a scam cause real people that work in the office will not answer me that way. He hung up.
