Computer generated Voice claiming to be officer Nicki Johnson from IRS. In regards, to fake lawsuit filed by IRS etc. To call 415-799-8333. This is the 2nd attempt @ 12:30pm in the afternoon this call was made to my home # by the Scammer. The first was Thursday afternoon @ exactly 12:30pm.
This is a dangerous criminal IRS scam. Do not respond to this in any way! I assume they change numbers often, so hard to block, best to never answer these.
This number called me claiming to be the IRS and that I had a tax fraud claim against myself. I knew this was wrong and I said, "if I had a tax fraud claim, then why did I get my refund check?" He then said I would be arrested if I didn't take care of this. I asked to speak to a manager and they hung up on me. Do not give them any information, don't even call this number back if they leave their threatening voice mail.
