I got a call from 414-7998686 from an officer Nikki Johnson. They left a message saying I must call back or action would be taken against me. When I called back someone with a thick accent answered and then hung up.
Received the same phone call...allegedly from the IRS. For giggles I tried to return the call twice. Got no answer the first time, and a busy signal the second. The Illinois Attorney General gets to make the next call!
I received the same call this morning 4-22-15. It does not appear to be an IRS number. I called back and after several minutes of rings, left a brief message. 'Nikki Johnson', 415-799-8686
I just got this annoying SCAM call this am also a recording from Nikki Johnson an IRS agent. LOL. Whatever, SCAM from someone else, this person right here is too smart to fall for tour dumb tricks!!
Just received a call from 415-799-8686 as described in other threads. The voice is a bad computer generated one at that. I searched for a way to contact the IRS to report the scam, and go figure, they are not concerned on knowing immediately. They will not take fraud information over the phone. You have to mail/fax (not email) a form to them. Shocking on how much they are not concerned with fraud... But if it is a phishing site, they have a online method for that...
