We had a voicemail message, a recording, from "Nicky Johnson". The first 1/2 of the message did not record, but she/the computer says it's the IRS and we must call them back before they take further action against us. We did Not call the phone number; and, I see here by Googling the phone number it is a scam, as we suspected.
I also received a call and called back and it just rang and rang and then a man with an accent answered "Internal Revenue Service!" As if they would just answer like that and no automated recording. Glad to know for sure this is a scam. Thank you.

I received a automated voice call from Nikki Johnson and was told to call 415-799-9972. I called and a foreigner told me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me for 3 allegations. One of them was that I improperly stated my income in 2012-2013 and that I owed money. He read me his affidavit and told me not to interrupt until he was finished. I told him to send this to me in the mail and I hung up. ***IRS always sends taxpayers a written statement via US mail of any owed taxes.***
