Got a call from 415-823-9230 stating it was from IRS and it looks like a Scam. Can anyone confirm? Should I call back to the number left in the voice mail?
A client of mine received 2 calls from this number today asking if he was going to ignore the letters he had received. He had not, of course, received a letter.
Caller identified himself as an agent of the IRS and that there is legal action against me and asked for my lawyers name and and phone number. I refused and asked him to send any legal notice to me via certified mail. He threatened that that an arrest warrant will be issued. I hung up.
