same thing as the others I have gotten this same woman/June Smith/IRS call before that they are taking action...everyone knows the IRS NEVER calls I have blocked the different numbers but today they have a new one 415-829-9423 which I promptly blocked same voice same recording same threat, I wonder does this really work for them?????
I too had a message on my answering machine stating that they were from the IRS and I was in serious trouble and needed to contact 415-829-9423. I contacted that number and a man answered the phone with an India accent and stated he was from the IRS. I quickly told him I he better have some good credentials before we proceeded any further. He then told me my number was called by mistake and to please ignore the message. How can our country allow people like this to make unwanted phone calls to fine people and try to steal there hard earn money out of them. Something needs to be done in our judicial system so that these people can be punished.

* Googling "IRS Scam" shows tons of warnings
The scammers seem to be:
* Overseas ... in India or Pakistan ... so our law enforcement can't touch them
* Using faked phone numbers ... so they cannot be tracked in the USA
* Accepting money via Green Dot or other, untraceable means.
So, what should "our judicial system" do now?
The REAL answer is: get educated about phone scams, and protect YOURSELF!
Well, boo! I received an automated call from 415-829-9423 a few minutes ago. My phone went to voice message (I love my answering machine). The message was as threatening as everyone here has already mentioned. THIS IS NOT THE IRS. This is not how they do business. I hate to think that there are people out there who will get scammed by these devils.

This crime is going on for over 4 years.
They mostly call people of INDIAN origin. But lots of other American are victims of their crime too.
Every day scamming call centers from INDIA are calling so many US citizens and resident aliens.
They have scammed so many innocent people for over 100 Million dollars.
FCC knows all about it. FCC is getting complains everyday, FCC do not people to go after them.
CIA and FBI needs to get involved and contact INDIAN law enforcement AGENICIES or get in touch with INDIAN GOVERNMENT.
