Really annoying recruiter, I do not recall submitting my resume to her and I've received three phonecalls in three days, plus two generic emails. She also calls at 8am, which can be brutal since I am currently working nights. In my previous jobs, we tried not to call clients before 9am, as that's a more acceptable time to call unless you know someone is in their office starting at 8am.
My company just reduced IG footprint by 25%. By next year we will have zero IG contractors on site. No transparency and not being honest are key features our company values.
LOOK AT THE NUMBERS!!!!!!! Insight Global is the second fastest growing staffing agency in the nation, with last year's staffing revenue topping $216 MILLION!!!!!!! The people on this forum who are complaining are either 1) personally and professionally unqualified to represent such a formidable corporation, or 2) just don't appreciate any job offer in a jobless labor market...
Also responsible for how you represent yourself and your personal information... Don't simply offer references blindly to an online/tele-recruiter without insuring that this person is even real (because most online scams are automated... but I'm sure you knew that).
So take advantage of even these most mundane opportunities to network at both a social and occupational level. It doesn't really matter if this company pays you next to nothing or if they send you on aimless interviews; what matters is that you have established at least some professional connections for the future.
Lastly, never tie your working life to a company or individual. Be your own franchise, and take responsibility for establishing yourself within an industry rather than a single corporation.

IG has provided my company many qualified and talented contractors. But all of the contractors now want o leave since there are no pay raises or fair pay for that matter. IG has a gross margin of 40-58% at last count. So whatever I pay IG, they get at least 40% and the contractors get the rest. On top of that, the higher margin contractors pay less for identical health insurance coverage then the lower margin people. Got to give IG credit, they know how to make it work for themselves and no one else. Do a google search for yourselves and don't believe all the positive posts that are always generic and prompted after a negative feedback. Also read the company website jobs descriptions, cocktail hours, entertain the clients, sporting event? and just have lots of fun doing it.
I got good results from insight they placed me where I am today and I have a permanent position. Thay probly do collect infroamation reguarding your previose employer to get more leads but what business man wouldent. I am very satisfied with there service
