Really annoying recruiter, I do not recall submitting my resume to her and I've received three phonecalls in three days, plus two generic emails. She also calls at 8am, which can be brutal since I am currently working nights. In my previous jobs, we tried not to call clients before 9am, as that's a more acceptable time to call unless you know someone is in their office starting at 8am.

I received a call from Insigh Global, named Rachel. After I read these notes above, I could tell that she didn't sound like HR at all, but very marketing person. However since I was in a job market and I gave it a shot. She asked me my back ground and desired salaries, and previous employer, etc..
Then she immidiately asked my former boss' name, and the reference list without giving me any specific job openings.
I finally started to feel suspicious but it was a bit too late.. I gave her a couple of names but didn't get any contact information, and told her to get her back on this later. She told me fine and to send a job description via email, and she never did.
I really wished that I read this page first at the first place. I feel sad that those people are taking advantage of serious job seekers.. My ex-coworkers are very supportive and willing to help me by being my job references, and I now feel mad at me that I almost gave her those contacts.
This place is a scam they just want to waste your time by calling and asking questions that have nothing to do with a job that is available. if they call, do this. DO NOT LET THEM take control of the conversation, quickly ask for a description of the job that is available and do not relent until they tell you, then if they ask other questions tell them you can only discuss private information in person and do not give them any other information.
DO NOT give them any information. They won't tell you the name of the company that they have the job for. They ask for your personal information, references, salaries, reason for leaving, skills, level of proficiency, description of your role at past employers, and latest copy of resume. Then they invite to set up a personal interview at one of their offices. You go to their office, and find out that it is a scam. The doors to the office are locked, and no one is there. A recruiter called me from this number today and I spoke with her. She was nice and professional, sounded sharp and friendly during the phone interview. I have worked as a contractor for years and they seemed fair in their interaction and salary negotiation.
I'm not sure why people think this company isnt legit. I looked up their website and it is up to date with office locations, information and a blog.
I'm going to the interview they set me up with and I'll see how it goes.
