IRS does not file lawsuits. Tax disputes are civil matters. 90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively. IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job. IRS does not cold call anyone and ask for money. All contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.
Got the same call stating they were from the IRS and I need to call back in order to stop them from taking action. There is not way to talk to anyone and the mailbox is full if you call back. I am grateful to all those who already reported them.
A "Julie Smith" Robot called me and left a message to call 415-852-9235. I called, and got her "supervisor" an "agent with the IRS". Super heavy indian accent, so much so, I had to have him repeat what he wanted three times. He said that he needed my attorney's phone number for my arrest this afternoon. When I told him that I have no idea what this was about, he hung up.
So, I call back, get a heavy Indian accented person, and he identifies himself as being with the IRS. I simply state "I know where you live" in the creepiest voice possible, he asked "what?", I repeat it again, and then state "I am watching you", and he says "really, you know where I live in (some Indian city)?". He then says back to me in his creepiest voice "I f*ck your wife", and I return the suggestion, he then says "I f*ck your mother" of which I then return the suggestion, then he say "I f*ck your father" of which I says "oh, yeah, I'd like watch", then I do some heavy breathing and he hangs up. I win (although it didn't get to escalate up to f*cking his sacred cow).
