I get this lady calling at least once a month using different numbers. She starts out by saying "oh, I'm sorry. My headset was not on correctly" and then starts her spiel.
Same as everyone else, claims she has issues with her headset and couldn't hear me right away. When I realized it was a telemarketing/ sales/ scam call I hung up. This was a little while ago. I got another missed call from the number so looked it up and immediately realized it was the same thing. I've since blocked the number.
I think this is part of the "Yes" scam. You are asked a question like "Can I ask you a few questions?" the you respond "Yes" which is then recorded and used to purchase things or open accounts with your recorded "yes".
She has called twice, I answer with, "Begin" she even asked me to say yes for "security reasons". When I told her she called a police station, she immediately hung up.
"Oh hi, sorry about that I'm having a little problem with my headset..." it's a recorded robocall and a scam. Don't bother answering or talking it's not a real person.
