Just got this one on my (Rogers) Cell.
Tried to call back, the call would not go through.
I normally get maybe one spam call per month, but in the last few days there have been a bunch from the USA.
It looks like my name has been put into some caller list; as it happens, I did leave my number at a website last week - but since it was an ISC2 security organization, I figured it was safe.
Second time getting this call on my cell phone. I'm baffled that they even got that number. The phone call is something like, "Congratulations. You have won a vacation. To claim your prize press 1 now" in a very robotic voice.
I phoned them back and they actually answered and asked how they may help. It seems they have people outsourced from India to work for them because both times I called the workers had heavy Indian accents.
When I said "I received a call from this number and i would like you to never call me again", the first person said "I'm sorry,I cannot help you with that" and hung up.
The second lady didn't even say a word, she just hung up.
GAH.
So I just had a missed call from that number too. (I'm also in Canada). I didn't recognize the 415 area code so typed that code in google and it said san fransisco :S .. then typed the full number and arrived here.. kind of confused!
