Caller states if I or my attorney doesn't call back he has no choice but to wish me a happy life and law enforcement from my state will soon be at my door. Third call from this number, same message received from 202-600-4268.
voice is Indian, says he is from US Treasury and if I don't call him back at this number immediately law enforcement will be at my door. Can't wait for ghem to show up! Sad part is that there are some people who are going to believe this is real. I reported call on the US Treasury website as an impersonator.
My dad got this call but he called back and told him off. The prank caller said my dad owed big money but it's a lie. If you get this call call your state police; my dad did and they said he was about the fourth report about this. Keep reporting it and maybe the police can do something about it.
I got the same message, he has an accent and sounds like he's reading from a script. He starts of very aggressively repeating the number without having ever stated either his name or number in the first place.
Then in a stern tone, he states "Now if you don't return the call or in case I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you a happy life as the law enforcement team of your state will be soon at your doorstep. Goodbye."
There should be a law enforcement team of his state, going to his doorstep telling him to stop the illegal harassment of law abiding citizens!
Same caller called me today, 12-16-15. At first I thought it might be a debt collector because I do have an outstanding $300 hospital bill, but no one else has even mentioned that possibility so I will just ignore this call in the future. Threatening me sure isn't the way to make me call you back!
