After 30-40 calls to my home, someone finally had the guts to say anything. The [***] telemarketer had a thick, hasty East Indian accent and rushes through his questions. Here was the word-for-word conversation, and I suggest you follow suit (if you are so lucky to find someone who has the guts to answer the phone on their own call, it took 40 tries in my case), as I have since not had a call in the past week.
Me: Hello? (Pause 3 seconds) Hello? (Pause) Hello? ...about to hang up...
[***]: ...10 seconds later... Are you owner of house?
Me: Yes
[***]: You need duct cleaning.
Me: (Speaking very slowly and clearly). Just had it done. Ducts were cleaned last week. OK for next 10 years.
[***]: You need duct cleaning. We have special 50% off.
Me: I don't need it, I just had the ducts cleaned last week.
[***]: When you have cleaning?
Me: Last week. Don't need cleaning. Take me off your list. Stop calling. I repeat, stop calling.
[***]: Click.
Just got a call from a Toronto # and the woman, with a strong Indian accent, said they have a special in my area for Duct cleaning special. I live in Ottawa??!!!!!!! I'm on the do not call list and will report them.
This # has been calling me and haressing me, after the frist time they called I said no for thier cleaning services but they keep on calling me...They will call a few times a week....and it's always the same guy with an accent!!! I don't know what to do!!!!
