I just got a call from this stupid company and yes I have gotten several calls from them in the past. I have asked them to take me off their list, reported them etc. Still doesn't stop. Today I just said to the same idiot "when are you gonna stop calling me - I will never ever buy your product." He actually said "sorry" and he hung up. I am sick and tired of these calls but someone somewhere must be buying their product. If we boycott all telemarketing and never buy their products eventually they would stop. Really why would they continue to waste money trying to sell something by phone if no one buys it? Pass on to all your friends - NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM TELEMARKETERS NO MATTER HOW GOOD A DEAL IT SEEMS TO BE!! There is always just as good a deal from your local businessmen and besides if you have to pay a bit more it is probably worth it. You are also supporting your neighbours in your community. A strong community = a strong economy.
thanks for all the above posts. these people DUCT CLEANING have been harassing me 4x a day. I have threatened police etc, but they hang up and call back with no number showing. I have reported them to CRTC and i advise you all to do the same. make sure to record what company they say when they call and time of call and report it. With all of us working together, we will get rid of them. WHAT ANNOYING SCAM ARTISTS.
these guys get out numbers from the 411. what i did was remove my number so it cannot be found in any directory, try it

I get several calls a week from Duct Cleaning Services and have been for a few years now. Last night's call was at 9:15pm, today's around 7:30pm but it's usually during the day. I usually just hang up as soon as I get the "dead air" when I answer the phone. Sometimes I just laugh and hang up. But today, just for fun, I used the Notes app on my iPad and and typed this:

I highlighted what I had written and, here's the cool thing, the iPad gives you a "speak" option. And would you believe, as I was playing around with it, the phone rang. I answered, heard the dead air and waited for the guy to say "Hello?" Then I hit the "speak" button and this female automated voice read what I had typed. With the period and space between the numbers she sounds really cool! As soon as the voice said "Good Bye" the guy hung up. I gotta say, I was pretty stoked lol Sure, it's useless, chilish even, but oh so satisfying
Just a follow up - The date of my last post here was the last time I have heard from Duct Cleaning Services. I have a new "recorded message" in case they call again, but I gotta say, this is the longest stretch since they have called. I'll keep you posted.
