so anyone know of a way to get removed from the calling list if they never actually say anything when they call? i suppose easy enough to tell a real person to remove you, but when its dead air, how can you say anything? does saying 'remove me' to dead air count and can i now talk to the CRTC?
Receive calls at least once a day, most times several times a day. I'm usually not home but when I call back, I get the fast busy signal. They never leave a message.
i just called the toronto sun's marketing department and left a message telling them about this webpage, and the repeated daily calls i've recieved for the past month. if i dont see a change in their behavior, i'm going to call every extension i can get at through the switchboard. if you would like the switchboard number, here it is!! Switchboard: (416) 947-2222
enjoy.
just rec'd a call from this number - person was polite at first but hung up when I told them "not here right now, who's calling" - never knew about this site before - really good to know. Thanks to all who contributed the info about The Sun. Guess they hung up knowing my next request would be to have them delete our number from their database.
