so anyone know of a way to get removed from the calling list if they never actually say anything when they call? i suppose easy enough to tell a real person to remove you, but when its dead air, how can you say anything? does saying 'remove me' to dead air count and can i now talk to the CRTC?
OK, so I call the number back... the ID that just called me and said nothing... and the report is that the NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE. THere is something illegal about that - I strongly suspect.
If it's the Sun... they are Toast. If soemone else... How do I find out?
That number called me twice today, once 2 days ago and twice before that. I plan on getting my number off their list ASAP!!! Hope that I bumped my # out of their computer on last call with the ########## trick. I am also going to complain to Bell if they are the carrier.
Received a call twice today from 416-335-4575. No one spoke and then they hung up. This time did *69 check and googled the ph no and found this site. Called the number twice but each time got a busy signal.
If it is telemarketing, you can request to be placed on a "do no call list."
