got calls from this number and a couple others also starts with 360. Never answered them and they never left a message. Only scammers keep on calling but never leave message!! I think they are all from the same scammers.
They called my cell phone on the 9th July 2014 I didn't answer as I have to open flip phone to see the number. I have the windows people call me Once a week the last time they called I said Would put my Husband on the phone as he is an OPP officer they hung up lol. Another time I asked how they would know I had a computer as I don't. Another time I told them my childs laptop didn't have windows they insisted that it did and I said how when it is a toy laptop computer with math games lol.
This is a great site, very useful resource. I think its time I gave back.
There are far too many scams and collection agencies using tools that "spoof" called IDs. Many people are not tech savvy and don't look up the numbers. I have 2 phones, one for phone and one for business. I have downloaded apps on both phones that take care of all this. One is ignore call, the other is call control. They have known number to block and also allows you to block numbers from your call log. I add any such numbers under a name like "LOSER IDIOT" and then just block LOSER IDIOT.
My phone doesn't ring with such calls, it disconnects the call and I am happpppyyyyy!! Good luck.
Dead air, then phone rings. Male (accent) voice says they are calling about a Windows problem. I can hear the background noise from a call centre. Probably a scammer using a robo-dialer. Co-incidentally the last several bogus calls have the same East Indian-like accents but different people calling via different spoofed numbers. They were definitely after personal information and had nothing to do with the products they misrepresent. including duct cleaning, window sales, kidney clothes, etc.
