Who called from 4163629842

Just got a call as well and didn't answer. Tried to call back and lo and behold it's not in service.

This person very persistent - wont take no for an answer -

Thick as the [***] on the end of a stick!
Scamers think of something a 2 yr old couldn't work out. - didn pick up

I got a call from "windows" like windows never calls like that. She told me I had a virus on my laptop. Like is that even real I just got it checked. Ugh

Just received a call from  V82211065900001  1-416-362-9842.

A female with heavy Indian accent stated that I have computer with my computer and would like to proceed with diagnostics.

This is not the first time I am getting phone calls from "unknown" people with heavy Indian accent claiming that I have computer issues that they are calling from Microsoft to support my performance issues or others. What are the legal actions we have as Canadian residents to avoid this kind of scams?
