1-416-788-4288. Received a phone call again, from 416-788-4288. Scammers calling about your credit card and interest rate. Also, beware!!! Within 10 minutes today, i have received again some "one ring phone call scams" from the following numbers: 603-737-1208, 514-434-1740, 2390659-5837, 516-508-4500 ballantyne. And there are more to come, it is only 12:30 pm............ The sharks are on the sprawl....... Beware!!!!!!!
I happened to be home mid-afternoon today which is rare. I got a call from (416) 788-4288 and it was the standard 'last chance to lower your credit card interest rate'. The options were to press 1 to talk to someone or press 2 to indicate you have no interest in lowering your rate. Because they've called my house so many times before I decided to press 1 to talk to someone to say 'remove my number from your call list'. When I made that request the male started with a tirade of sexual comments, very explicit comments that I cannot repeat here. I couldn't believe it. I could hear the general office sounds of other telemarketers on calls in the background and this guy was just going on and on like it was some sort of game they play on people who take a stand. I pretended I was recording the call and told him the more he went on the more trouble he'd be in. He just laughed and said I could 'never get him' because he's not in Canada. I said I was aware he likely wasn't calling from Canada. And then I hung up. I called the number right back and it says 'Voicemail has not been initialized by the customer'.

I live in canada and these harassing "one-ring calls" have been going on for at least a year. Some of these numbers phone 3-6 times a day. One in particularly using the name ' ballantine '.
