Searched number & came to this site only to read that everyone has had the same calls regarding computer virus, I said I don't have a computer & thay hung up! Total scam! I would like to no how thay got my number though as only just changed my number! A few days ago & it's x directory!? Hmm
Called claiming they were from "Windows Security" and said I needed to "fix my computer". Asked if they were an employee of Microsoft Corporation, claimed they were. When I pointed out that MS doesn't have such a division and we don't have a windows computer, hung up.
Definitely a scam - they were trying to tell me that "Windows" was a company and so was "Microsoft" They wouldn't tell me who they were. The "supervisor" congratulated me for knowing that Windows in an operating system, not a company!
